The
local folk scene
|
West Yorkshire has a thriving folk scene with many long-running folk clubs and pub sessions to choose from, in addition to a number of festivals. Leeds in particular has a strong music culture, with Irish music well represented, and has always attracted musicians from other areas. Tykes' Stirrings (published quarterly) is an excellent publication, giving comprehensive details of folk events all over Yorkshire. If you wish to submit your own site for possible linking, we will be pleased to consider it. |
