BIRDS SEEN IN CYPRUS, DECEMBER 1988
     
This holiday included visits to warm coastal areas and the Troodos mountains where there was deep snow and where we saw crossbills for the first time. Five species were new to us and particularly pleasing to see were chukar and black necked grebe.
