BIRDS SEEN IN ORKNEY (AND EN ROUTE), AUGUST 2002
     
This was our first time on Orkney but I think we will return. Even in Summer there were large numbers of birds, particularly curlews, lapwings, gulls and rooks feeding in the fields.
