Sleeve design by Phil Birkby (John's brother)

The first album by the band was released in 1981 and featured John Birkby on guitar and vocal and Dave Calvert on electric bass, guitar, banjo, mandola and vocal. They were joined on certain tracks by the late Dennis Carbery on mandolin, Neil Ingram on guitar and vocal, Malcolm Stocks on accordion and John Tallet on whistles and bodhran.
